Description
Ensure the appropriateness and effectiveness of mental health assessments and support participants’ safety and well-being.
Oversee two community-based intensive case management (ICM) teams consisting of Clinical Supervisors, Clinical Case Managers, Social Workers, Behavioral Health Specialists, Peer Supervisors, Peer Coordinators, Peer Specialists, Client Care Coordinators, and a Program Associate.
Works with leadership team and community-based staff to ensure high quality client engagement and data collection as a priority through frequent evaluation of assessment and intervention practices
Provide clinical direction to ICM staff and ensure adherence to intake and service provision protocols.
Assist case managers, behavioral health specialists, and peers in providing appropriate services to clients with a variety of complex mental health, social, educational and emotional needs.
Ensure compliance with intake assessments, service referrals criteria, progress notes, agency policies and procedures for client services or regulatory requirements for the provision of mental health services.
Supervise case managers/social workers, behavioral health specialists and peer specialists including providing clinical supervision to eligible LMSW and LMHC staff as they progress towards licensing hours.
Conduct case conferencing to address legal and ethical treatment and service issues with staff.
Develop and/or provide innovative strategies to solve for both clinical and programmatic growth.
Educate the public and external stakeholders about the Supervised Release Program.
Develop, identify, evaluate and/or implement best practices for person-centered, trauma informed approaches.
Identify gaps in service delivery and recommend improvements in processes or assessment tools.
Promote continuous improvement and prioritize quality client services.
Ensure all records are up-to-date, accurate and appropriate.
Ensure Supervisory staffs’ accountability and adherence to performance expectations and work standards.
Build and maintain a strong and diverse network including court personnel, attorneys, community partners, and other stakeholders.
Advance the organization’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging among the clinical case management teams and to the overall welfare of the organization.
Manage, mentor and motivate staff and provide constructive feedback and professional development (training) to build core competencies.
Monitor and review service productivity and case management outcomes.
Participate in clinical supervision, case review meetings, staff meetings, and in-service training.
Provide case management and supportive counseling to a small caseload of clients, as needed.
Model and support the CJA values of commitment, fairness and innovation.


Skills
Education & Experience Requirement

LMSW, LMHC or LCSW required 
3-5 years Supervising a case management team required
