Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide mental health services at a correctional facility in Stockton, CA. This role demands a professional who is prepared to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment, offering mental health support and counseling to a diverse inmate population.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Provide therapeutic counseling and support to inmates struggling with mental health issues, substance abuse, and the psychological effects of incarceration.
Maintain diligent and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and facility standards.
Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress.
Offer crisis intervention services and develop discharge plans to promote sustained recovery and reintegration.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Current LCSW license in California.
Proven experience as a LCSW, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in correctional facilities.
Deep knowledge of HIPAA and relevant state and federal regulations pertaining to social work in correctional settings.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
